true-horror-story-phone-3am
It started at exactly 3:07 AM.
I woke up suddenly, not knowing why.
The room was completely dark, and everything was silent.
Then I noticed something strange.
My phone screen was on.
I was sure I hadn’t touched it before sleeping.
In fact, I always turn it off or leave it face down.
But this time… it was facing me.
And the camera was active.
I sat up slowly, my heart beating faster.
The front camera was recording.
Recording me.
I grabbed the phone quickly and stopped the video.
My hands were shaking.
I checked the recording.
At first, it looked normal.
Just me… sleeping.
But after a few seconds…
Something moved.
Behind me.
I paused the video.
Replayed it again.
There was a shadow.
A tall, dark figure standing near my bed.
I turned around instantly.
Nothing.
The room was empty.
I told myself it was just my imagination.
Maybe a trick of the light.
But deep inside… I knew it wasn’t.
I kept watching the video.
The shadow slowly moved closer.
Closer to my bed.
Then it stopped.
Right next to me.
I couldn’t breathe.
And then…
The figure leaned forward.
As if it was looking directly at me.
Not the sleeping me…
But me watching the video.
I dropped the phone.
The screen went black.
For a moment, everything was silent again.
Then suddenly…
My phone buzzed.
A new notification appeared.
I picked it up slowly.
It was a message.
From an unknown number.
It said:
“You look better when you’re asleep.”
I froze.
My entire body went cold.
I tried to call the number…
But it didn’t exist.
I checked the recording again.
But this time…
The video was gone.
Deleted.
Like it was never there.
I sat in the dark, trying to understand what just happened.
Trying to convince myself it wasn’t real.
But then…
I heard it.
A whisper.
Very close to my ear.
“Don’t worry… I’m still here.”
